Poh Poh & Goong Goong came for a visit in mid may to visit to the bay area. It had been the 2nd time my dad has seen Lucas since he was born, so he looked very different from the last time. He was itty bitty, but now he's big boy at a strapping 19 lbs 5 months 3 weeks old. Poh Poh missed Lucas so much and was so excited to see him. They spent lots of time with Lucas, and even babysat him so that Todd and I could go out with our friends at night. We even went out in the afternoon by ourselves shopping - wow it felt weird not carrying a diaper bag, a good weird of course. It was a fun visit and we'll be seeing them again in mid July in Vancouver.

We totally enjoyed our visit with Lucas and of course, Alisa/Todd. Lucas changed so much since we last saw him and growing by the day but still the same good nature Baby. Can't believe he barely fusses and such an easy baby to take out shopping and to restaurants. He even has his BM's timed so he can spend the day outside justing doing the No. 1, ha ha. Probably a good thing too because his parents are so social. Day we babysat, we hardly spent that much waking time with Lucas, as he went to bed at 8:00 pm (tried to keep him awake but he would have none of it, closed his eyes and refused to wake up no matter how we prodded him) and slept right thru until almost 6:00 the next morning. He made a little noise around 2:00 am when his parents came home but then it was because Dad had to sneak in to take a peek. Mom got food poisoning so went straight to bed. She couldn't eat for a couple of days. A bummer for their rare night out together. Was hard to leave little Lucas when he accompanied us to the SF Airport. Looking forward to their visit in July.
