We can't believe Lucas has turned 1. It feels like yesterday when all he could do was hold his head up and look around. Now, he can cruise furniture, crawl all over the place, pick up food and feed himself, turn on and off the lights. He hasn't said Mama or Dada yet, but he does say "oh oh" when he droppes something and "oh noo". That one is funny. He's very chatty these days and I wonder what he is talking about.
We celebrated his first with 2 parties. (I know isn't that crazy?) I know the party was more for us than anything since he won't remember - we did make it 1 year so that's lots to celebrate. The first party was with Todd's family and he had lots of fun with his cousins. He likes hanging out with the big kids and being the center of attention. It was so cute to see him crawl after his cousin Max to see what he was up to. The other party was with our friends, and my parents flew up for this event. It was nice to have them around - I got a break.

On his actual birthday, Lucas hung out with his Nana, Poh Poh and Goong Goong and we went to Stacks for brunch. Afterwards, he got to play with his new ride. 
Todd took a day off and we took him to a Musuem in the city.
We had his 1 year checkup today.
